Service Description

Day 1: We’ll start our day with a morning leave for Kandy. On our way, we’ll visit an elephant orphanage at Pinnawela and a tea factory. We’ll also stop at the stunning Dalada Maligawa, a temple with a golden roof, and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha. Afterward, we’ll have some time to shop for handicrafts, gems, and jewellery. There are also some interesting old temples nearby that we can visit. In the evening, we’ll witness a beautiful Kandyan Dance Performance. We’ll spend the night in Kandy. Day 2: Today, we’ll start our day early and drive to Nuwara Eliya through the beautiful Ramboda Pass. At 6187 feet above sea level, we’ll enjoy the stunning scenery of tea-carpeted hills, the Ramboda waterfall (329 feet high), and the Hakgala Botanical Gardens. Afterward, we’ll head back to Colombo through Ginigathhena. We might stop for lunch at Kitulgala, which is the location of the famous film Bridge on the River Kwai. Now, Kandy is also known for its white-water rafting in the Kelani River. We’ll get to experience some grade 2 and 3 rapids, which is quite thrilling!
